Makers Louisiana Folk School is where folks can learn new skills to enrich their lives. Community, culture, creativity, and inclusivity are at the center of the school’s approach to learning. Its mission is to offer to everyone in the community a nurturing, student-centered environment where craftsmanship, tradition, and life-long learning are valued. The school aims to be representative of the community and cultural fabric of which it was born and will include educators and students from all walks of life.
